Reiki Dance
A continuing program of live workshops and classes with occasional special events.
The REIKI DANCE™ experience is a proprietary moving-meditation program created by Daniel Montoya that weaves together Reiki, somatic awareness, intuitive movement, and live music to awaken the natural flow of prana and reconnect us with our inner light. Rooted in presence rather than performance, this heart-centered practice invites you to move as meditation, allowing the body to become a vessel for awareness, healing, and the expression of Shakti. In a trauma-informed, consent-based space, you'll be guided to listen deeply to your body's wisdom, soften the mind, open the heart, and experience the joy of authentic connection through movement and music.
We set an intention and make dance our ritual to manifest that intention.
Facilitated by Reiki Masters Alice Belle and Daniel Montoya, with an immersive live music journey led by Simon Davis, accompanied by Emily Sclar. Reiki Dance offers a 90-minute sacred container to ground, expand, and remember the light that already lives within you.
WHAT IS REIKI?
Reiki is a gentle Japanese energy-healing practice that uses light, consent-based touch, or hands held just above the body to support relaxation, presence, and a sense of balance and well-being. In traditional Reiki practice, the practitioner works with the concept of universal life-force energy, creating conditions that may support the recipient’s own natural capacity for rest, regulation, and healing.
From a spiritual perspective, Reiki can be understood as a practice of becoming more receptive to subtle energy, inner awareness, compassion, and connection. Many practitioners experience it not simply as something one person “does” to another, but as a meditative relationship with presence and the body’s inherent wisdom.
What to Expect?
Opening circle (10 min): introductions, brief orientation, safety cues, and consent reminders
Meditative flow (40 min): Intention setting, channeling & movement
Reiki share (15 min): solo, with space to connect, pause, or rest
Sound Healing Experience (15 min): Relax and let yourself be guided
Integration circle (10 min): optional sharing, quiet reflection, closing
Why Reiki Dance?
01 / Meditation in Movement
If sitting meditation is not exactly what you’re looking for, Reiki Dance allows you to explore silence, joy, and embodiment in a safe and trauma-informed setting.
02 / Relax Safely
Relax while you dance freely, either alone or with others. Consent and touch are only permitted when you agree to it. Respect and kindness are part of the roots for this practice.
03 / Collective Positive Energy
Connection is a core part of the process, whether you are dancing alone or with a partner or group. You will learn how to connect with your own body and energy and explore what it is to connect with others in a gentle and healing way.

More than a dance. More than a Reiki session. A complete healing experience in motion.
The REIKI DANCE™ Experience is a proprietary moving-meditation program created by Reiki Master and somatic practitioner Daniel Montoya. It brings together several practices that support relaxation, embodiment, self-connection, and meaningful connection with others.
✨ Facilitated Reiki treatment
Reiki energy is intentionally woven throughout the experience, creating a gentle energetic container for rest, awareness, and inner healing.
✨ Somatic healing through movement
Instead of following choreography, participants are invited to listen to the body and allow movement to emerge naturally. Every gesture becomes an opportunity to release tension, explore sensation, and reconnect with the body’s wisdom.
✨ Live music with professional musicians
The music is created in real time by experienced musicians who respond to the energy and movement in the room. Rhythm, melody, vibration, and silence become part of the healing journey.
✨ Sound healing and deep relaxation
A dedicated sound healing experience supports the transition from movement into stillness, helping the body settle, integrate, and receive.
✨ Meditation in motion
Reiki Dance transforms meditation from something we only practice in stillness into something we can experience through breath, sensation, rhythm, and embodied presence.
✨ Dance and physical expression
Movement can help awaken vitality, creativity, joy, emotional expression, and a deeper sense of aliveness. Participants are always welcome to move gently, dance fully, rest, or remain still.
✨ Community and connection
The experience takes place within a respectful, consent-centered community where each person can explore at their own pace. We move individually, yet we are supported by the shared energy of the group.
The REIKI DANCE™ Experience invites you to quiet the noise of the mind, listen to your body, receive Reiki, and let movement become your meditation.
Dance is our Ritual.
