The Trauma-Informed Reiki Framework
This framework is my approach to Reiki and energy healing for people who want support that feels grounded, safe, and emotionally respectful. It’s especially helpful for those navigating stress, burnout, anxiety, or trauma history, and for anyone who wants a calm, structured session without pressure or performance.
The Trauma-Informed Reiki Framework is compassion-centered and nervous system aware. The goal is simple: help you feel safer in your body and more at peace in the present moment.
What “Trauma-Informed” Means
Trauma-informed does not mean we focus on your trauma story. It means we prioritize the conditions that help your nervous system settle: consent, pacing, clarity, and choice.
You are never required to disclose personal history. Sessions can be quiet. Touch is always optional. You remain in control throughout.
What You Can Expect in a Session
You remain fully clothed. Sessions are calm, structured, and respectful. We can work in silence, with music, or with simple guidance. Many people leave feeling more grounded, clear, and regulated. Others notice benefits over the next day or two (sleep, tension, mood stability).
The Five Steps
-
DescrWe begin with a brief check-in to understand what’s present for you emotionally and physically, and what support would feel safest today. You can share as much or as little as you want.iption text goes here
-
You are met without judgment. We name what’s happening with care and clarity and keep the pace gentle. This step is about being seen, not analyzed.
-
We set an intention for the session and clarify boundaries and options. You have choice around touch, silence, pacing, and positioning. Consent is ongoing, not a one-time question.
-
Reiki supports nervous system settling, emotional balance, and a steadier baseline. The aim is not intensity. It’s present-moment ease, reduced stress load, and a sense of inner space.
-
We close with grounding and a simple takeaway. This might be a short practice, a reflection, or a next-step recommendation. The goal is to help the calm carry into your day.
